Hindi Elocution Competition

On 29th August, St. Joseph’s Convent School, Whitefield, Bangalore, conducted a Hindi Elocution Competition for students of Classes I to VIII. The event aimed at enhancing the oratory skills of the students and nurturing their confidence in public speaking, while also developing a love for the Hindi language.

  • Classes I – III (1.5 minutes): प्रकृति (Nature), पानी बचाओ (Save Water), मेरा सपना (My Dream)
  • Classes IV – V (2–3 minutes): राष्ट्रीय त्योहार (National Festivals), खेलों का महत्व (Importance of Games), पर्यावरण का संरक्षण (Environment Conservation)
  • Classes VI – VIII (4–5 minutes): प्राचीन काल का गुरुकुल (Ancient Gurukul System), शिक्षा का महत्व (Importance of Education), स्वतंत्रता के अधिकार (Right to Freedom), गाँव का जीवन (Life in Villages)

The young speakers expressed their thoughts with clarity and enthusiasm, leaving the audience impressed with their confidence and delivery. The competition not only helped students showcase their speaking skills but also encouraged them to think deeply about important values like environment protection, education, freedom, and cultural traditions.

The event was a great success, reflecting the hard work of the participants and the encouragement of their teachers. It truly brought out the spirit of learning and expression, in line with the school’s vision of holistic development.
